Why Hitler’s in Heaven with Mother Teresa
January 20th 2008 01:15
1. There is no good and bad, that’s a human made concept: There just is.
2. No one does anything because they think it’s `bad’ anyway. Hitler thought he was doing the right thing, so really, his heart was in the right place, as was Teresa’s.
3. There is no heaven and hell: again, another human made concept. There’s no Garden of Eden in the sky, or a place of burning flames beneath the earth. We’ve made that concept to symbolise how life on earth can be for us, and the choices we have. “As on Earth, so it is in Heaven…”
4. If we just disintegrate when we die and there’s nothing else, then there’s no punishment or consequence, so why would there be wrong and right? If we are eternal and do reincarnate as the Buddhists believe, then we reassess how we’ve gone in past lives and decide what we’re going to do in the next to get us closer to our soul’s goal. Both Hitler and Mother Teresa would need to do this – so they’d both be in the same place.
5. If it’s true we all have contracts with each other before we enter the physical, as the spiritualists believe, then all the people who were killed on Hitler’s orders were in contract with him. He was just filling his part of the contract.
6. Another concept of modern spiritualists is that death is not a thing to be feared. In fact, the place we go to after earthly death is much easier and peaceful than this physical, emotional life on Earth. If this were so, then wouldn’t Hitler be giving all those he had killed, the ultimate freedom? (Although if you don’t believe in contracts you could say this freedom from physical life was forced upon them).
7. Just because Mother Teresa gave her life to the poor and sick, doesn’t make her an angel. Self-sacrifice can often be a way of copping out of one’s own problems. It can also lead to vanity, self-righteousness, and self-denial. I’m sure Mother Teresa, if her spirit is still floating around up there, is making the same kinds of decisions about her next life as Hitler is.
8. Ultimately, there is only love. Even when we fear (the opposite of love) and hate, we do it because our heart and soul cries out to love and be loved. Love is forgiveness; Love is letting go; Love is peace. If we all eventually return to Love after we leave this plane, then Love is where both Hitler and Mother Teresa are, and that’s what we call Heaven.
